First of all, sorry it's been - yep - 3.5 months since I last blogged. But we really do hope you had a Merry Christmas :) Since I last showed a video of Belen she has learned to crawl, pull herself up to standing, clap and say something that is almost "Uh-oh". That said, I do not have a new video for you - yet. Hopefully soon. However, I do have a cute story.
This morning I woke up to find myself lying on my right side, Belen's head leaning against me. I was sandwiched tightly between her and Holden and I needed to run to the grocery store. So I climbed over Holden and left. When I got back he said "Guess how Belen woke up? She opened her eyes, giggled, clapped and then looked over at me and smiled".
It's pretty much never-ending cuteness around here.
In other news, I'm still teaching dance lessons about once a week, Holden is still working like a dog and has taken on a small editing side job. He was in a launch the venture class and his team competed at a couple of business competitions recently. They won 3rd place at one in Tennessee. Way to go guys! That's about it from us for now. We plan to blog again sometime between now and Christmas; no promises on how many times, but we'll do our best, I know Belen's fans are particularly interested in seeing and hearing how she is getting along. I love it. And then you wonder, "How on earth did I ever wake up before I had a little one? Waking up must've been so boring!" I miss that little angel. All three of you little angels, really.
Belen was SO adorable in Park City- I can just imagine her adorableness increasing exponentially! (nerd alert) I'm with Leah- I miss you all tons.
Finally!! Nice to hear some news from the Higg. family!! When are you bringing that sweety to see aunt Nancy in kentucky? Keep the upates coming!
